Hecate Magazine began as a web journal, where I originally had my poem 'After & Before' published. After establishing a rapport with the creator, I was appointed as the art director, with my artwork selected as the cover for both the Birth and Decay anthologies.
I was tasked with finding suitable artists to pair with chosen poetry. I really relished this role in finding new professional connections and championing small press.
Here are examples of writer's call-outs. The call-outs were very specific, for a type of writer whose work was focused on embodiment, the feminine and witchcraft.
