TERRA, ArtFromHeart Group Show, October 2022

ART from HEART proudly presents TERRA, a multimedia group art exhibition in support of our beautiful Planet Earth!   

The Exhibition originated out of deep concern for our complex relationship with nature. It features 47 multimedia Artists addressing climate change through their diverse and expressive work by exploring the beauty of nature and/or its destruction by human activity; using upcycling materials to transform trash into art; and/or building sustainable art practices by recycling and incorporating natural pigments and elements from the landscape in their creative practices.

My multimedia analogue collage pieces, Tears of Alchemy (2021) and Gift of Renewal (2021), were carefully selected to be showcased in this exhibition. Being a practitioner deeply engaged in the realms of ecology, feminism, and mysticism, it was an immense honor to have my work featured alongside other talented artists who share a similar passion. However, what made this show truly extraordinary was the beautiful gesture by ArtFromHeart of planting over 70 new trees in the Amazon Rainforest, an act that encapsulated the spirit of renewal and environmental awareness, resonating with the core of my artistic practice.
